1 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, registering, or using BimaSarathi's website, mobile app, or any of our services, you ("User") agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and BimaSarathi (operating from RZ-27, Sita Puri, Pankha Road, Dabri, New Delhi – 110045).

2 About BimaSarathi

BimaSarathi is an insurance aggregator and vehicle services platform operating in India. We facilitate:

• Comparison and purchase of motor, health, and life insurance policies
• Vehicle document services (fitness, PUC, permit, road tax, challan, FASTag)
• Insurance claim assistance
• ISP (Insurance Service Partner) program for agents

BimaSarathi acts as an intermediary and does not itself underwrite insurance policies. All policies are issued by IRDAI-registered insurance companies.

3 Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age
• You must be a resident of India
• You must have the legal capacity to enter into contracts
• For ISP registration, valid PAN card and bank account required

4 User Account & Registration

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• One person may not maintain multiple accounts
• Providing false information during registration may result in account termination
• BimaSarathi reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts at its discretion

5 Services Offered

BimaSarathi provides the following services (subject to change):

• Motor insurance (car, bike, commercial vehicle) comparison and purchase
• Health insurance and life insurance facilitation
• Vehicle fitness certificate, PUC check, permit renewal, road tax
• Challan check and FASTag recharge
• Policy download, renewal reminders, claim filing assistance

6 ISP Partner Terms

• ISP partners must complete BimaSarathi's digital training and certification
• Points earned are as per the current Points Policy (subject to change with 30-day notice)
• Points redemption is processed monthly on the 1st of each month
• Fraudulent policy sales, fake customer data, or mis-selling will result in immediate termination and forfeiture of all points
• ISP partners must comply with IRDAI's code of conduct for insurance intermediaries
• BimaSarathi reserves the right to modify the points system at any time

7 Payments & Refunds

• All payments are processed through secure, PCI-DSS compliant gateways
• Insurance premium amounts are determined by the respective insurer, not BimaSarathi
• Service fees charged by BimaSarathi (if any) are non-refundable once service is rendered
• Refund of insurance premium is subject to the respective insurer's refund policy
• In case of payment failure, amount will be refunded to source within 5-7 business days

8 Prohibited Activities

Users must NOT:

• Provide false or misleading information during any transaction
• Attempt to hack, scrape, or reverse-engineer the platform
• Use automated bots or scripts to access our services
• Misrepresent themselves or impersonate another person
• Use the platform for any illegal activity
• Attempt to manipulate premium calculations or claims
• Circumvent or tamper with the ISP points system

Violations may result in immediate account termination and legal action.

9 Intellectual Property

All content on BimaSarathi — including the logo, brand name, website design, text, graphics, software, and code — is the exclusive property of BimaSarathi and is protected by Indian copyright and trademark laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit any content without our written permission.

10 Limitation of Liability

BimaSarathi shall not be liable for:

• Any claim rejection by an insurance company
• Delays caused by government portals (Vahan, RTO, etc.)
• Losses due to incorrect information provided by the user
• Technical outages beyond our reasonable control
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service in question.

11 Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi.
